3M™ hot melt applicators are designed to help improve productivity, lower costs and minimize waste in industrial applications. From high volume to detail work, 3M™ hot melt applicators ensure optimum performance through melt on demand or progressive feed technology to meet your production deadlines. Dispenses both low and hot melt adhesives with melting points ranging from 260 deg F 450 deg F (127 deg C 232 deg C). It is designed for use with 5/8 in x 8 in quadrack (Q) adhesive sticks and is capable of delivering up to 5.5 lb of adhesive per hour. Scotch® high performance masking tape 213 is designed to deliver reliability when exposed to high temperatures, removing cleanly from even the most challenging of surfaces. The specially treated crepe paper backing is sliver resistant and conformable. Because this tape can withstand high temperatures (up to 30 minutes at 350 deg F/177 deg C) it is ideal for use in masking and holding paint bake applications. It bonds and removes cleanly from even the most challenging surfaces, including anodized aluminum. Masking tape was developed specifically to help protect surrounding surfaces from over spray provide clean paint lines and remove easily and cleanly when finished. Masking tapes from 3M™ adhere well, resist solvents or water from the paint and are strong enough to hang plastic sheeting, yet remove cleanly without damaging the subsurface. The backing, typically crepe paper, can conform to curved and irregular surfaces. The tape hand tears for tool free application.
