The bare metal finish (non-plated) is ideal for indoor use or where corrosion is not a concern. Grade 8 screws, recognized by six radial bars, are made from quenched and double heat-treated medium carbon alloy steel for maximum strength in demanding applications like heavy-duty machinery.
